Keep in mind that if they have good botnet they can also takedown stackpath or any other provider. Like even a public MIRAI source have CF, OVH, NFO takedown methods... And we all know how sophisticated OVH and NFO are.

Well, the good news is if somebody attacks your business then you are doing your job in the industry right.
But think about security and protection. Twice. It is very likely they will come back with new methods.

You must first add cloudflare to the domain DNS. Then, change your server IP. Lastly, update the new server ip on cloudflare Dns. Otherwise cloudflare will do nothing as they know the server ip. Get a VPS or dedi on OVH, they offer DDOS protection. This way you would have 2 layer of protection cloudflare and OVH

I use Stackpath for this. I was facing the same issue, but not it is fine now.

or ask your hosting provider for their IP and block them.

Cloudflare is shit..

As it won’t be able to protect , If the attackers knows your ip.

I started using cloudns ddos plan they’ve excellent support.
