Help Us Decide On Membership Price

Discount prices on yearly membership?

I wont mind paying up..

This forum have helped me soooo much..

So its nothing compare to the money Im making!

Wow! I go through the posting and seeing lots of different idea!

But for me? it really depends on what I get, and I will pay whatever price that is just!

I will wait till the salespage is up and decide on that!

I do agree with the Admin that we need to have a limit membership and price it at the middle. We don't want to get a lot of members to join and let the tools become less effective!

I am waiting for the salespage and ready to join!

I'm getting more and more confused (and worried) by this.

First, there's a poll asking people how much they would pay. Then there's an 'announcement' that it needs to be limited so it'll be priced high anyway. So, why bother with the poll?

And, Rob the Builder makes some excellent points about promises and content. The only thing I've seen mentioned so far is the cookie script running on a thin client basis. That means that rather than paying a one off fee (which some people have already done) you will be locked into membership for as long as you want to use it - or any other things which come along.

Sorry, but I don't run my business by putting it into the hands of others - no matter how nice they are.

Some of the people posting that they will pay really high monthly money seem to me to be exactly the wrong kind of people to let loose on this sort of stuff because they simply aren't acting in a business like manner. They give the impression of people who will buy absolutely anything which says it's going to make them successful - when they don't know what it is. And, read all the posts again - there is NO detail of anything other than the cookie script.

I'm sorry to sound so negative but this needs a lot more information, not just vague promises.

ya np man you dont have to join then Its Blackhatworld, it will be worth it, no doubt about that...The poll was a great idea, until it was realized that 90% of the people will pick the lowest option no matter what. So in that you are correct, the poll has become irrelevant. Paying for a membership that is run by BHW for BHW is 100x better than paying more for a mystery coaching club, or a bunch of worthless ebooks...You might as well wait until the official announcement before passing judgment

That's understandable I forgot to mention that their are certain server requirements for the server. Anywaysl the good thing about the new server side script is that there is nothing to install. You just simply copy and paste some code into your website and your off stuffing

So will this mean that sites created will be dependent on/call back to your server? = if someone discontinues membership their sites will stop working?

yes i think thats what it mean... im not sure if that going to be well liked...what if i was making good money using the script and all of a sudden.. bhw dont wanna have the paid program anymore?... and i start over again? ..damn..

It does not sound appealing to me at $50+ a month... I have tried several subscription services that were promoted as the 2nd coming.. they all turned out to be not much meat... good luck with it.. I'm sure you will get by without my $$..

so is this gonna start in May already or do you think more like "Junish"?

You know thats a really good point to make. What good is a tool if you can't use it or if it's doesn't make you any money.

I think the only reason a person would stop membership is if they were not making money - other wise it's a worthless venture for both of us.

hopefully next week -- Cookie Stuffer v3.0 is ready now, I'm just building the server out and preparing the video's, knowledge base etc... Moving as fast as we can.

Perhaps you could 'value' such contributions and give VIP access for a proportionate period of time.

That way you have an income stream from those who always want the latest and greatest and a potential income stream from those who either can't afford a regular membership fee or will pay only for demonstrable value.

I have to admit that I've found some good stuff here - but I've also been able to find good stuff elsewhere and it hasn't cost me anything. You'd be very hard put to entice me to pay more than 20 bucks.

You hit the nail on the head!

Been away for a while, but here's my thoughts. When people hear membership fees, they assume it is for the forum itself. What Diamond Dave is proposing is basically a value added service in addition to the free forum. Read his first post.

If that is the case then the question is how much would the free forum and its content change because a group has opted for the membership service. Probably not a whole lot.

Offering his VIP service would make some tools, interviews, etc available for a small group, but the monies charged, ie the membership fees could possibly help to keep the site up and running efficiently.

I dont think we are looking at a tiered membership(gold, silver, platinum) like Dan Kennedy has in his program, because we are speaking only of an add on to the free forum.

Just my 2 cents. In any event, I think $19.95 is enough to cover this add on service and provide some extra revenue to the site, based on what I've heard is in proposed for the add-on. If people cancel out, they are not leaving BHW altogether, only the paid services...

Actually it helps a great deal. It tells you what your forum make up is - and that does help a lot.

For instance I can tell you that 221 people at the time I'm posting this are voting $19.95 because thats what they can afford. They don't even know what the membership is going to have for them or what it is yet.

Then you have at the other end, people wanting to pay a bit more, again not knowing what the membership will include. So it kind of says that people are voting just on what they can and are willing to pay. That speaks volumes in itself.

No one here yet knows what the program is yet or what they would be getting yet they are willing to talk price. What if I said the point to the membership is to help you make money. 10 times what you pay for the membership monthly? What if I said 100 times the monthly membership cost?

Whats it worth then?

It should be clear to everyone that some people are willing to invest more, time and money into their success then others -- who do you think has a better chance of succeeding?
Who do you think you'd rather work with in designing new black hat applications or just work with in general? Some one that really is so so about it or someone willing to put in the time to actually be a success on a large scale?

Ever have a customer that was a pain and you didn't charge them enough for the job to be worth the effort to make them happy? Point is you can't change people - they have to do that and in the mean time you should be looking at people that have a better attitude, work ethic and will be far easier to help to success because of those very qualities.


A simple poll can tell you oodles about people.

I have to agree with DaKnightFall on this, like I said in a previous post in this thread, I voted $19.95 because I am a cheap bastard an would rather get something for nothing, but, I am wise enough to know that life does not work that way. Am I willing to pay more, yes, but that was not the question.

You know, that IS something that's going to have to be considered here.

I, too would be willing to pay more. Heck, I paid $35 just to get into the VIP, money I thought was well worth it. I paid $69 a month for SSEC for the time I had it. I think the people who are ready for the tools that this new section will offer will just have to judge for themselves if it's worth it. I voted for $19.99, like every other cheapskate, but, I would pay more.
