Help Us Decide On Membership Price

if its anything even remotely less than 97$ the tools will get too saturated to be useful... think about it guys, you might wanna be cheapskates but if you do this will become useless all too fast!

Just my opinion dave, the majority of people who come to the forum do so loking for help and FREE downloads ie shares people want something for nothing and like a virus the word has spread and as a result you are getting more and more people joining but here's the problem , most of them are newbies who have little experience or money.

With all of the other blackhat forums out there some of which have been going longer have also tried the membership trail but without success, as for cory he would have to have some very very special software to be able to interest the more experienced present members as most have been there seen it and got the t-shirt.

I actually think you would make more money running a section just like the warriors speacials section where they have to pay 20 bucks to sell to the blackhatforum members at a discount. It would get rid of the crap and some of the nob heads currently joining .

I also agree on around $50 and to keep limited, to keep it a tight niched group. Just my 2 pennies. Thios will also kick out all the people looking for free tools/tutorials and really dont have a clue what their on about. Im new i know but i will be here to stay

$50/month sounds good to me. The SEO Blackhat forum membership is $100/month. Membership here might be worth $100/month too, but I couldn't afford it right now. The use of the Cookie Stuffer alone is worth 4 months membership @ $50/month.

I voted $20 because why spend more than you have to? No one should really be worried about saturation because if the tools don't work, members will cancel, that's the incentive to keeping everything up to date and working.

Many of us do not make any money from these methods yet, still trying to study and find a way. So spending $19+ per month seems not a good solution. I think most of us will happen to spend if the amount is small, some thing like $5, or even $2.99 just like web hosts sell you unlimited hosting

That way you get lot of us signup for the monthly package.

I voted for 49.95$ bcoz if any of the members works for only 1 hour using any of the method mentioned on this forum he can easily earn that amount.

Hi, I voted 20 bucks but depends on whats being offered. Will certain software be added for instance TB genereator or submitter and such like. Depends,I'll be willing to pay more.

Since this forums seems way better than DP and since paying will not even motivate you - the 'teachers' - but also us - the students - I guess I can pay around 20$~30$/month. I don't earn to much, but thanks to BHW things will change, so giving something back won't be a problem in my point of view

I Voted 19.95, depending on what it will be offered.

I think the MAIN question is how will the "Fee/Fund" be used? As BHW success is due to member's FREE contribution/sharing and this is about 95-99% (correct me if I'm wrong). 1% is from boss/owner of the forum.

So how will this membership fee will benefit us?
Will the percentage of the owner's contribution will increase? maybe 50%?

I suggest those who contribute to free from paying membership fee as a Thank You. This can be measured by the Thanks You the person receive per month. For instances, whoever receive 5 Thank You is free from paying.

$19.95 doesn't seem excessive. However, at present there's a lot of sharing of stuff here on a free basis. If that goes then, I'm afraid, so does the whole forum because an awful lot of people will simply find somewhere else. Memberships have a habit of falling off. One or two poor months where there's little or no new content and all of a sudden there's nobody left.

I'd suggest that a) you keep stuff here totally as it is and b) charge for VIP area access. Access to that area would be by monthly fee or, perhaps, bestowed upon individuals who contribute important stuff on the main forum. Perhaps you could 'value' such contributions and give VIP access for a proportionate period of time.

That way you have an income stream from those who always want the latest and greatest and a potential income stream from those who either can't afford a regular membership fee or will pay only for demonstrable value.

I have to admit that I've found some good stuff here - but I've also been able to find good stuff elsewhere and it hasn't cost me anything. You'd be very hard put to entice me to pay more than 20 bucks.

However, you don't need to have the restriction to certain number of members! Because not so many people know about this forum yet! And you don't want so many people to know about this either!

I think $19.95 is a good price point! It is affordable to everyone in this forum! And it also depends on what you have to offer!

If you plan to offer something exclusive, you should charge more for that! Or as you add more and more benefits to the membership along the line, you should increase its price accordingly! Let's say, for now, you start it with what our members voted for! That is $19.95 as 80% of us vote for this!

Then for those who join late or really late whereby the vault value of the membership is getting a lot higher, you should consider charge more at that point. But make sure to keep the price of those who join earlier the same! Thus, this will keep them subscribe for loooog loooog time! That is how you retain your members!

The value of what your membership has to offer is really important! Please make sure it is somewhat unique and exclusive!

I don't think you will have any hard time to get at least 300 to 500 paying members at the start of your membership should the price is at what they are asking for!

Please limit the number of members!

I don't agree on the limit of members because then you limit contributions from new blood of new ideas and methods.

The more members the more the tools are used and the more often they have to be updated. Also, the more members the more chances that things will leak and then the tools are useless.

A higher price will limit the number of people, as will being picky about who is allowed to join. A combination of the two, a mid range price to cover profit for the programmer/tech support on it, and being choosy is probably the best.
