(help) Understanding twitter limits and getting rid of it..

I want to know about the twitter limit of no of tweets per hour and per day. Basically, according to the twitter, it is 1000 tweets per day. and further divided into semi hourly limits.. Well on searching, i found it is like 100tweets per hour and max 1000 tweets per day..

now the problem is, i made a imacros script for twitting still i get in twitter jail.. I have tried the following ways but still getting into twitter jail -

1. tweeting 100 tweets in 5mins. then wait for 1hr or 1.15hr. Then again script on, but after 10-15 twits , it goes into twitter jail(for 1hr+)
2. tweeting a single in every 40seconds, 90per hour, still getting into jail after 110-120 tweets(for 1hr)
3. tweeting 5-10 tweets in a single go, then wait for 5-6mins, total 85 tweets in hr. but after 120 tweets it gets into jail(for 40mins)
4. tweeting continuously at 120-125 till blocked, it goes into jail.(for 1.5hrs)

so what actually should i do so that i don't go into jail..

I dont claim any expertise, but it seems to me that maybe the limit is 100tweets/hour, BUT not consecutive hours. try sending ~100 tweets the first hour, then wait 2 hours and then blast another ~100 tweets.
