Hi

I have sent a btc payment for someone, but after about 24 hours, the payment is being shown as unconfirmed on blockchain .

Is there any idea about the reason ? And how can i solve that? Actually the seller is asking me to pay it again as it is confirmed.

Any help is appreciated.

Im not the best person to answer this, but an idea that popped into my head is; have you checked the address properly?

You have modified the fee to be low thats the reason its not going through there are many paid services who can push through .

Yes i copy pasted exactly the address the seller sent to me. I just rechecked it to make sure about that.

dont forget, the reciever on some sites have to accept the transaction before its processed. i would cancel that one before issuing another

Am also faced this type of issue, But it will be solved automatically with in 5 hours! Did you contacted the support center?

Check your wallet it should show pay fees to accelerate it. Also don’t pay again it will get confirmed eventually, how if it’s low fees it’ll come back to your wallet

This is normal, when you choose low network fee when sending the btc and btc network is flooded with transactions,

Already about 24 hours passed :( Is there any support center ?

nothing serious eventually it will confirm
I have 1 payment more than 24 hours passed and still unconfirmed. it will confirm eventually.

If you're in a rush and need a payment confirmed more quickly than 24 hours, some Bitcoin wallet applications like Electrum have a feature known as "child pays for parent". This feature allows you (the sender) or your customer (the recipient) to manually send additional fees for the transaction onto the blockchain to help speed up the confirmation time, even after your original transaction has been initiated: https://bitcoinelectrum.com/how-to-do-a-manual-child-pays-for-parent-transaction/

You can also search Google for "child pays for parent" for more info.
