Not enough information to help here, what theme is it? Is it a new wordpress installation? If so try reinstalling.

Have you unzipped the file, some themes come with a pdf guide in the file so it won't work

Well I guess it's a premium theme that you haven't actually bought then.
I've no idea about removing encryption, nulling or anything like that but if you really want this theme you have only 3 options:
1 Buy it
2 Find someone who can remove the encryption
3 Find somewhere else to download it
Other than that I can't help here

Why didn't you say that at first, buy the theme and get the license key

I would suggest, go with the licence theme. Instead of free theme. If someone is expert in cracking the encrypted themes then you can contact them. But it's not legal. Also, after uploading the new theme, if still there is white screen then you will need to check the live error logs on the server.
