So I figure this would be the best place to post as to not clutter another area. So I've been just reading around the forum's reading some guides and e-books. So now after learning alittle more over everything I'm wanting to get started. I'm having trouble deciding what to do. My goal is atleast 100/day or so just to keep myself out of a job while I'm at school. I'm really looking for suggestions cause from some things I've seen is people start out and try so many different things and don't make as much versus picking a method and marketing just that idea. I've been looking at affiliates, MLM, dropship, and everything. What would you suggest to someone who has around 10hours that I can spend a day atleast on marketing. Any ideas would be great.

All I can say is keep reading, try as many methods as you can until you find one that works, and never give up. What might work for someone else, might not work for others. IMO, BH is all about trial and error.

    Good luck.

I'm in the same boat you are. I've been reading a lot of the posts here and it put me in information overload.

Thats my problem I see so many things that I have ideas for but I'm trying to find something steady to pay rent atleast while I'm in college. I thought about doing E-Cigarettes because there is almost no-one marketing it here, I found a drop shipper who sells them for $20 a lot and I could see for about $75 a piece or more. I already have ideas for it like fliers, cards, inserts for college newpapers cause at OU, OSU, and almost all the college schools in Oklahoma have started banning on campus cigarette use so I see that as big market. Does this sound like a good idea to anyone? Or should I use affiliate and skip the drop ship and take what the affiliate will give me instead of making profit off what i decide to sell.

Out of those two options I would probably choose affiliate over dropshipping E-Cigarettes... but what do I know? I'm looking into E-Whoring, personally. Right now I just need $5,000 by July. That's my big goal. I'm sure I can do it... I just need to find a niche. That seems to be the big start to all this. If you want to keep in touch with me, feel free to PM and we can brainstorm together.

Ya I'm sure $5,000 is possible as that's just alittle over a Grand a month. I'm just tryin to make sure I start off right saw some posts over PPC sites that some people started out with that helped them so think I might look at those first.

My suggestion is start with affiliates and work your way to methods like CL and EBay. If you havn't signed up for any CPA networks try hydra, convert 2 media and commission junction. If you don't know how to apply then PM me and I will give you some more advice.

I agree that I would stay away from 'dropshipping' until a later date/time, when you're more apt at properly identiyfing good, tight, niche markets.

Now, seeing as you mentioned "E-Cigarettes", which is a quit smoking product, albeit a physical product, why not try a digital product from Clickbank.com, such as:

    w-w-w<dot>quit-smoking-expert<dot>com

The payout is over $30 dollars ($31.77 to be exact) and has a low gravity (under 25)
Seeing as in some states, the tax increase on cigs is irking a lot of folks and I've already seen several news related stories regarding the price increase over the last week or so, this could possibly be a good time to promote such a product.

Depending on the amount of cash-flow you have, you have a few different options on how you could promote such a product. One way is to setup a blogger.com account and a wordpress.com account and add a few posts to each one around:

    1. The product itself and how others have found it useful.
    2. The ups and downs most smokers face when trying to quit
    3. Tips, techniques that other former smokers have found useful when it comes to quitting smoking
    4. Etc., Etc., Etc.

Using your aff. link of course, use anchor text on your primary keywords back to the sales page for the product. Use the BHW 'comment locator' tool that is up in the D/L section I think and find "********" blogs that are directly related to quit-smoking and use that to increase your back links to your blog.

Take it one step further and build both a Squidoo "Lens" and a Hubpage "Hub" OR website using Weebly.com and WetPaint.com and continue the article marketing/self promotion for the product.

Following the advice I came across in a recent BHW "Howie Schwartz" download, you can even interlink your blogger, wordpress, squidoo and hub pages, as long as you use just one of them as the primary 'money page', or 'sales funnel' back to the actual merchants page.

Of course, the proper keyword research would need to be done to really target a particular "quit smoking" market but do think it's possible to make close to $100 per day..and every day of the month...and make that $5,000 +/- you're hoping to make by July. (Two sales a day x 3 months gives you over $5K)
