[Help] Simple Web Hosting Question

I've been looking around for a good host, which I've found on FatCow $30/year for the first year, but anyways I've notice that when you sign up to with any host they offer a service this service:
"Drive Traffic to Your Site. Optimize and submit your site to business directories and top search engines with SubmitNet Basic. Raising your search engine rankings will help customers find your site."

My question is, would any recommend paying a few extra dollars to get this service, or is it not worth it?

• Side note: I am personally not skilled in the ways of SEO yet.

Don't waste your money, these extra services are totally crap.

You're right. Between google and the forums here I should be good to go....well that is if I choose not to let the learning curve knock me out of the race before I even get started. Haha

Just learn the basics of SEO and you could probably sell these services yourself.

add valuable content to your site
grab potential viewers using social shares
Try DIY seo, if it does not work move towards any paid services
