HELP, serp is down after reinstalling a plugin

I really hope some one could give some input.
I have a site that receives around 20.000 visitors / day.

2 days ago my YOAST plugin were asking an update, so I click the update button like usually we do on wordpress, but after updateing there were lots of error messages.

What I done next is uninstall the plugin and reinstall it again. 2 days later my visitors drop to only around 7000 / day. I check and lot of my keywords were dropping in serp.

Is this because I have reinstalled the YOAST seo plugin which is taking care about the title and description of my site.

In fact even I had this plugin but I never manually edit the titles and description. So even I reinstalled it is showing the same title and description for each post.

Could any one give some clues what is going on? Will my serp bounce back?

Well, sometimes when you change data on your site, that may create a ripple effect on your site's overall ranking. If not much changes, or if minor changes, then perhaps the SERP fluctuations are just temporary. If I am ranking for a particular keyword, I'd update that page that is being ranked for a particular keyword cautiously, as if something changed, Google would be the first to know, and they may try re-index based on the new data on your site.

Its a legit version.
I use the plugin on my other sites as well. Other sites were not affected at all.

Some how I believe the reinstall procees was the one causing this sine it happend just 2 days after that "plugin update error".

I really hope the serp drop is just temporary drip.

I am only receiving 1/5 from traffic i use to get daily
