Hey BHWer..

I have a question regarding seo competition on market samurai..
I'm pretty new with keyword research and wanna ask about this strength of competition state by market samurai..
Should i go for this strength of competition and how hard to outrank #1.
This keyword have around 12k exact search per month.

Thanks in advance..

Definitely possible - if you know what you're doing. ;) Getting a tld with your keywords at the beginning of it and you'll be more likely to rank faster than if you don't use them in the domain at all. You will probably have to hire someone who offers a backlink service to get ranked #1, however it CAN be done. :) Just because they have a lot of links, doesn't mean that they're good quality. Best of luck to you.

Thanks flibbertigibbet for your answer and i appreciate that..
I know it hard to fight that backlink count but for those who have many backlink they dont optimize their on page or they are not targeting this keyword..
Ranking #1 is sub page from a blog..
Ranking #4 is article from goarticle with only 4 backlink..
So you think its hard to go for this keyword with this competition?

Can you elaborate a little bit about 'if you do it right'?
My plan is to buy domain name with the main keyword in it..
Put keyword in my header, description, article, picture in my website..
Beside that of coz i will backlink to my site..
Is that enough?
Thanks!

1. lots of short articles (200 words), that are keyword rich, each small article with it's own page and heavy seo for the filename. (get back links to them all separately via article sites)

2. meta tags aren't very important in Google these days so you don't need to make them perfect

3. create a lot of internal links, so if you have in one article a long tail keyword that you wrote another article about on a different page, turn that long tail keyword into a link to that other article. (Wikipedia is super successful because of their system like this)

4. use backlink checkers to find out where your competition is getting theirs and if you can get one from there too, do it.
