Help sending email to 1000 clients?

Hey guys. I just got my hands on a list of 1000 email addresses of valuable clients, and there is definitely money to be made here. My question is how do I send an e-mail to all of them? I tried using Hotmail with a program called "Fast Email Sender" but then Hotmail blocked my account after sending it to the first 100.

Anyone have any tips or suggestions?

Was the Pm not good enough or too costly?

Price isn't that bad... but he hasn't pm'd me back yet
 
I use phplist works well. Easy to set up and its opensource. no cost. If you use XAMPP or something of the like make sure your ISP hasn't listed you on the blacklist for spam. (Most ISP's do for household ip's) if they have then I would use a host to do so. Just don't send all 1k in a minute, spread it out over an hour or more. they shouldn't mess with you that way.
 
You guys should check out mailchimp it's a pretty good way to mass mail, I'm using it for subscribers so I'm not sure if you can manually enter emails but I think you probably can.

It's free up to 1000 email adresses
 
Mailchimp will block your account if there are 1) too many bounces from a new list and 2) if you get 1 spam report.

If it's blocked you have to get mail chip admin to unblock and then get every member of the list to resubscribe...

it's a bit of a bitch in that respect, however for onsite CRM mail management it's F&@#^&*G gold.

I use it all the time.
