Hello fellow Blackhatters,

My site has not really been affected by the Panda update but I want to do everything possible to avoid dropping in the rankings.

Please I need you guys to check out the site and offer valuable suggestions as to how to avoid the Matt Cutts of a guy. He's becoming more of a bucket of shit these days. Thanks

Sure. Take a snippet from a post and check it in Google with quotes. Google is indexing some of your URLs and throwing them in the omitted results. This means duplicate content issues. Look to solve that for the future health of your forum. Otherwise, sit tight because even completely clean sites are off the serp map now. This Google dance aint over yet...
 
You want suggestions on how to not drop in rankings with that site? I guess I don't get it
 
don't do ANY backlinking right now. just wait until things settle. after that i would advise high pr backlinks in a slow steady natural rate. my 2cents
 
I don't know about most people but when I see "Nigeria's Online Business" all I can think about are scammers.
 
Wait a few weeks until you make any decisions around artificial backlinks. Continue to add quality 100% original unspun content.

It is true that there are scammers in Nigeria, but the more experienced will understand that there are still very honest people in Nigeria. Take a close look at the forum, you will see that it's all pure and transparent. I chose the other path, and I'm doing well on it, though it's longer and harder

Really? What do you mean by "Take a snippet from a post and check it in Google with quotes" ? how do I do this? I need answer please, 'cause this sounds important and urgent
 
Look at the following link and see that one listing is in the omitted results.

Oh I see...That looks like duplicate content. But how is one listing in the omitted results? I didn't see any data to this effect

Probably because I pasted the URL after viewing the omitted results. Copy small portions of text and enclose it in quotes when searching in Google. You will find some posts are duplicated two or three times. If Google is tossing so many posts into the omitted results, that is definitely not healthy for a forum. Good luck.
 
No surprise there. I almost got scammed by a Nigerian.

I even made a thread about it here at BHW and it made someone day :-)
