HELP: Returning to do seo

Hi, i was out of seo work for 3 years, in the past i rank my sites using scrapebox comments in related keywords sites, and in my competitors backlinks.
But now, in 2012, after infinite penguin updates, i'm lost on how rank my sites now
Some help on how do it?

Yes sure, by making backlinks. Nothing has changed just some turds kicking up a fuss about nothing.
 
lol, seo for others is dead, but i need rank my own websites.
About backlinks: i used it until today, and ranks vs money payed, is good; but now with the new google feature "disallow backlinks", google will detect (more easy now) black hat seo domains, for it my need of help

Randibell, i don't want know the ranks of my keywords on alexa or google, there are a lot of tools.
i want know the latest techniques of smart seo (bad called black hat)
 
I find some ebooks, but all refer to same: content, link building, etc, but i think that can't be the same rules than 3 years ago, and after infinite updates of panda and penguin
Some aditional help?
 
Not much has changed since you have been gone. J/K. Might want to read up on Penguins, and Pandas. Fundamentally nothing has changed, but it is definitely more sophisticated.

Thanks jstover77, how of sophisticated? i has owned scrapebox and thebestspinner, i need more tools? what more need?
In the past i did comment links for backlink had "related content and context" but now after disallow link tool, i think that do backlink aggressive is dangerous because google will had detected more low quality domains.
can you do coach me?

Not this shit again.. Read the forums and you'll understand, don't be lazy.
 
Study the update of recent days then start working again. DOn't take anyones suggestion at first. I think you should read all the things at first then start working.
 
create quality content and some quality backlinks of high pr websites by doing guest blogging or submitting articles on good article directories.
