Hi Guys, I have a quick question. How do I use Squid proxies with Ultimate Demon. UD says it requires email, pass, ip, port for private proxies.

However, squid proxies say that they don't provide user/pass authentication. I am very confused. I have ip/port and that's it. Any advise on how to use squid proxies for UD?

From Squid Q&A:
Can I get username & password authentication instead of IP Auth?
No. This is to prevent sharing of proxies. We allow a max of 15 authorized IPs and this can be changed anytime for free.

Also seems Squid proxies is a partner of UD so it should support, i guess some way. Thanks for your help in advance.

Could someone help me on this? I tried to put the private proxies in ip:port format in UD but it says connection error. Will it require user/pass? the proxies are alive as tested from proxynova site. However UD says connection error and scrape throws error 403. Any idea please? Thanks.

You can use squid proxies with Ultimate Demon.........

Probably you are not using them in correct format.

Use the HELPER button in UD

There you can enter username or email and then Password.

And below box add PROXY:PORT:

That's it make it oK and it will work for sure ;)

hopefully it will help you

just paste them with IP:PORT because squid proxies require you to only authenticate the IP addess that are using the proxies you don't need user:pass so just leave that blanc
