Help regarding domain ranking

I have a question regarding domain ranking in serp.
I want my website to rank for a keyword, but it is new and i think it is going to take a lot of time. I was wondering if any way i can make a keyword domain and get it ranked and then direct it to my site, will it work?
I just want to get visits to my site? is there any way, iframe, redirect or any other alternative, Thanks! I will earn from adsense and will it be a problem with iframes?

If your site is new and you have a better domain available just go with the keyword domain and transfer your site over to it. Much better idea than doing anything crazy or redirecting. If you are going to use adsense I would stay away from iframes or anything else that may show the bots one thing and your visitors another.

Keep it simple especially starting out. Create some decent content and build yourself a lot of good back links with the proper anchor text.

I mean I have a niche site with all topics and am gonna concentrate on that. I just want to rank for this keyword, is it possible? Pls Help.

well google clearly gives more ranking to keyword domains for queries of the keyword. a 301 redirect would pass the link equity gained to the keyword domain to your niche site. if you rank the keyword domain; it may pop up on the search results and when the user clicks he will get redirected to your niche site if your 301 is in place. you would have to have some links pointing to the domain nonetheless.

If i get the keyword domain to rank and then redirect it, it won't get unlisted from google due to redirect will it, is there a way to do this so that the domain does not get delisted?

If the new keyword is related to your existing site just do that. If not the new site would be the best bet. If you do that just set the site up and use it properly without any redirects or other tricks. All that is going to give you is a bunch of wasted time. With a redirect, Google ignores the location where the redirect is and goes straight to the new location. If you are redirecting to your existing site then you may as well just create a new page in the first place and leave it at that.

Honestly if having a second site is that much of a deal just add another page to your site. While there is some benefit to have a keyword domain name it is not the most important factor and you can rank well without it. Adding the keyword in they url by naming the page the keyword is almost as good. Pair that up with the proper tags, descriptions and content backed up by a lot of properly anchored text links and you will have not problems getting ranked.

I though keyword domains were very easy to list than from ur domain page, that's why i was thinking about this.

What else do you need? You should either build another site or add a page to your existing one. Just decide and do it. Number one choice would probably be building a new site. But it seems like you do not want to go there for some reason. If that is the case then add a page to your existing site.

Paralysis by Analysis seems to be your problem. Pick one an go with it. On page factors and your link building are going to be the most important factors anyway. Hell if you can not decide then do both. Seriously dude in the three days you have been thinking about this you could have had a site up and built a bunch of links already.

I have the site ready, but i just need to decide and know how to redirect it to my original site, will it cause any probs and how to do it safely?
Will a 301 redirect work or should i just put a bit of text and say read more at my site?

As I said before if you do a 301 your new site will be completely ignored by Google. When you do a 301 Google completely ignores the page where the 301 is and goes directly to the new page, as far as Google will be concerned the site will not exist. That is exactly what a 301 is supposed to do. That make this a complete waste of time.



Seriously either build the site and treat it correctly or do not bother and just go with a page on your main site. Anything less will be a complete waste of time. If you want the advantage of a separate site then you need to build a separate site. If you do not want to bother with a separate site then do not and just add content to your existing site.

Seriously dude you could have either one or both ranking and making money by now. Stop thinking about it and ACT!!

I did not want to jump in without knowing my Options and don't wanna spam my site to get blocked. Maybe a new site and some backlinks and see where it ranks.
