[help] Quick question about niche website

I was looking for a niche website and found one I quite like
the only problem is that the articles the designer has put on them are from Enzine.

its a great looking site but is it useless with just these articles on it
not wanting to spend money then get hit for dup content or not ranked at all.

I have never experienced a penalty for duplicate content but you shouldn't expect to receive much SE traffic on these pages. I have often added duplicate content alongside unique posts so outcome might be different if purely duplicate.

Effectively you would just be buying the template - what kind of price was the seller looking for?

Its up for auction at the moment, sitting very low
What I like is the layout etc of the site

So if I buy the site , I should basically just get some unique articles and
chuck them in there to balance out the enzine ?

or maybe even spin the enzine articles as well
