Hello,

I am fairly new and would appreciate any advice.

I am looking to buy a few domains that are readily available to buy and have backlinks or traffic already on them so I can redirect to my relevant main website.

My question is what is the best way to view the domain stats before I buy, and is godaddy good to buy with?

Many Thanks,

Fox

Hi,

You can check TF, CF, RD, DA metrics. Also you can check for backlink and anchor text history to avoid spammy domains.

Thank you.

Where is the best place to view these stats ??

Thankyou

You can do it by using these tools:
Ahrefs
Majestic
Semrush
Similarweb
Web archive

Or

You can buy it from expired domain sellers. If you are looking for few domains.

Or

You can use tools like domcop, domainhuntergatherer, etc.. to search in large quantity.

Thank you very much I will have a look around

I think $99 a month is a bit above my budget it' s only a lil project and my first one.

There are a couple of group buys for SEO tools. You could consider them if budget is an issue.

expireddomains.net is THE best free tool to view expired/expiring domains. But you won't be able to reg domains with past traffic and good backlinks because they will all be taken. You will need to either backorder them or buy from sellers.

No, godaddy isn't the best place to reg domains but godaddy closeuts might have some with mild traffic.

Thank you for all of your Help, going to have a look around at the links and comments made and come up with a plan of attack
