[I posted this in The Lounge---think I made a boo-boo- there. If so,my apologies!]

So my question is this: people say to upload your videos to many video sites for backlinks and exposure purposes. All fair and well.

What has stopped me in the past is this:

I upload a video to Youtube - Title, description, all SEO`d etc.

NOW - do I use the exact for all the other sites, or do I change everything before upload?

And, if ok to use same - reasoning why? [I would think that google would see duplication going nuts here...]

I have read conflicting "advice" from a few sources, hence my hesitance.

This is a good way to get the links and exposure but I don`t want to bugger my chances by doing the wrong thing.

[AND of course spending and wasting all that time.]

Thanks all you BHW gurus!

I used a contractor on fiverr a few times to upload my videos to multiple video sites and it was very cheap. Way better than doing all of that work yourself.

In my opinion you can use the same Title, description, tags etc... However, it is always better to reduce the amount of duplicate footprints when doing any SEO projects.

You want to always keep your main target keywords. It only takes a little time to create a few more titles and descriptions so why not just switch it up a bit. Search Engine Optimization is always changing. You never know what the future may bring. It is better to put in as much effort as you can.

Google wants to provide excellent results for its users. Google does not want search pages filled with results of the same content. Google is always making changes in the effort to eliminate results with the same content over and over.

You will probably get more exposure by significantly reducing duplicate text content. If I upload the same video to multiple sites, I will create just a few different descriptions, randomise titles, tags etc.. while also keeping my main keywords intact.

Now you do not need to post different text content to every single upload site. That would be going overboard in my opinion.

Thanks for replying, SEODEMON! Yep, it was my thoughts too...just trying to cut down work load I suppose! I do have the Blaster Tools suite, and with this I can make literally hundreds of videos from a "core" video. Thanks again!!

As for me, it's better to make them different
Every Google user can use different words to explain, what he/she looks for
