I have found one expired domain with 1.2k backlinks!
should i buy it?

Check the quality of the backlinks ,are the backlinks from related sites.PA and DA metrics can be inflated by spammy links.

if that is all that is required from an expired domain i would have a few thousands of them by now u need to check the sites that are linking to the domain check if the domain is penalize do some reserve and check how easy its going to be to rank it for keywords check the competitors this are just the basics that u need to know before even attempting to buy a domain

check the SPAM Score of that domain and referring domains

OP, don?t focus on the PA and DA only but instead check the value of the backlinks. Also, check the history of the website in wayback machine.

Try to know the history of the domain, if it is a dropped domain it would be not that much worthy on spending money on it. Make sure that it will be worthy buying.
