help pls how not to trigger the spam filter on comment posts.

ive been doing some blog posting for back links , on one site theres plenty of backlinks in the comments section , but i seem to keep triggering the spam filter.

even new ones have been posted today with links in them

i have set up a account on the blog , signed in , made a comment , then i went back to re-edit the post to add the link

and i have tried the same as above with the link in the comment with out re-editing and it still triggers the spam filter , but people are clearly posting comments with links

Ok, two thoughts here.

1) they're using Askimet, and your IP has been identified as a source of spam.
2) Are you actually adding value to the site with your comments? Personmally on the sites I manage I'll approve a comment if it has something useful to say, but I have no use for comments that say "Great article <link to their site>"
