help pleeze!

a local newspaper has major high rankings on all search engines and my name pops up everywhere now for a stupid accusation in a police report that I'm not guilty of. If anyone knows anyway or how to get my name or this news page off google, yahoo, comcast..etc.. please help!!!-mixo

Fastest way would be to contact that newspaper site admin and say that your name need to be removed from their website since you are not guilty and you don't need publicy like that.
Ask nicely. If they don't do it just tell them that you will take them on the court.

thanks for the reply. ill try that. i have a feeling that they wont acquiese since they are a big paper with lots of police blogs. hiring an attorney may be my only option.

Most of those reports are always very public and usually published in local papers. The online avenue starts to make things so much worse in this regard as people have somewhat quietly ignored the fact that Newspapers have had to compete with new media (e.g. online news).... and it's now very common practice that all local media outlets have online distribution of information as well.

That makes a simple stop by police, that would have been bad enough to have published in your local paper.... spread a lot farther a lot faster.

There should really be something to prevent them from putting that info in the paper.

Presumably, if your supposed to be "innocent until proven guilty".

yea and there putting your name in there paper without consent from you and letting people know what you have done. And you dident give permission for them to do that so you should get somthing in return.
