Help Please, What is Going On with My Site

I created a autoblogging site about 2 months ago, and started promoting it through press release appr. 4 weeks ago. The 2nd day I published my article on press release, I received about 70-80 organic search from google.com but it only lasted 2 weeks, then search die down all of a sudden completely.

The site is still being indexed by google, but no traffic anymore but doesn't look like it is being sandboxed.

So, what is going on here? am I being penalized for being an autoblog site? I use Amazon and coffeniated (for youtube only)plugins, have adsense and a square for ebay affiliate.

Will I be abandoned by google forever? is there a point in keeping promoting and building backlinks to the site?

Have you only posted that one Press Release? You can't depend on one Press Release to keep bringing you traffic. You need to keep posting fresh, new unique content to keep the bots coming back and crawling your site.

I posted 5-6 press releases on 2 different free press release sites and haven't published any since the search traffic stopped.

I just don't understand why the search stopped one day all of a sudden, from 70-80/day to 0, I am wondering if my site is blacklisted by google and if it still worthwhile to promote it the legitimate way.

i want to find out any particular reason why google search disappeared, or it is just a mystery ? it may be a lesson learnt to me so i can avoid doing similar things to other sites in the future.

Google is just doing its dance. Gotta give it time, anything whitehat, takes time.

cld be any numbr of thngs - my 00.02cents says all new domains go up - for a week - then down for at least 3 - 12 until google decides their TRUE relevency and appropriate position in the serps

one of mine started out at # 15 - a week later # 157 - still falling - dismal - but - backlinked the shit out of and weight till they kick in then - up she goes - don't be too concerned - all good things take time

What was your ranking when you were receiving 70-80 UVs? Did you track your SERP rankings?

Ninjutsu, no, my site had PR0 all the way along, and still PR0, Alexa ranking has dropped from 2million to 900K, but all the pages are still being indexed (by searching site:www.mydomain.com in google), which is a good sigh I guess.

I don't have any backlinks except press release, downloaded Paul and angela's package, but haven't put in use yet... Guess it is time to get started.

You can use autosurfers to raise the numbers, i recommend you the traffic guide made by Harro (it's posted in the main forums)
