Hi everyone, I launched a small local business website of my own a few weeks ago and starting creating some natural backlinks through social media and a few blogs, anyway being eager to see if any backlinks had showed up I started using some backlink search sites,
My problem is I accidentally entered my web address in webdetective .net thinking it was a backlink checking tool but it not, it just tells you everything about the URL you have entered
BUT now when I check my backlinks in a 3rd party tool it says I have an EXTRA 250 nofollow backlinks from what looks like a load of spam and porn sites !!!!!! The so called backlinks all show the spam URL but they all end in webdetective. net
My question is are these really backlinks or just where my URL shows up on the same page as lots of other URLs that websitedetective is displaying on the same page ,
I'm really worried google is going to penalise my small local website .
If anyone has any knowledge on this could be kind enough to share it please
