Help please! new here.

Hi guys, i'm new in the affiliate marketing, and i hope you can help me out a little to get started with internet marketing & making money. I have an affiliate link from payripo and i get 10$ for every unique visitor that clicks my link. Can someone tell me what's the best thing to do with it? Post the link on advertising sites? Facebook? Youtube? Are should i do something else with it? I hope anybody want's to help me out? Like i said, i'm very new to this. I've read some things already but it's difficult to find out what's good and what's bad.
