HELP Please-Backlinks!!

Hi

I've done a whole lot of backlinks on the one site i am developing and wanted to know if the blackhat method i am using is suffice?? Basically the backlinks are redirecting to my site...

Well, using links in the footer is actually a whitehat technique. If you want each those individual pages to rank for each of those specific terms that you are using in all of those link's anchor text, you should change the page titles of each of those individual pages to include the incoming link's anchor text (as well as throwing those keywords around on the page a few times and not just posting duplicate copies of your index).

Remember, google ranks individual pages for keywords (not entire sites). You are passing some of the main page's authority to each of the links in the footer, but because each page is being linked to from the same domain and IP address as the main page, the authority is not as great as you would get from other domains/IP address/ authority sites linking to those pages with those keyword phrases as anchor text

EDIT: When you are getting backlinks to your pages from other sites, be sure to use variations of different anchor text. If you use the same texts too often google distinguishes it as spam. Make it looks natural- just like other sites are voting for your authority on the subject by linking to your pages naturally

So you suggesting the following ? Just so i am sure:

1) For example the one link says.. Ipswich Suffolk Rubber Stamps . The full URL of that text is : http://theartisticrubberstampcompany.co.uk/Ipswich-Suffolk-Rubber-Stamps. Once a person clicks on that it directs to the home page (as you probably have worked out already
2) Once the link above is clicked , it then say in the Title bar should say some like Ipswich Suffolk Rubber Stamps ?? I.e. -- Does a request qeurystring to see what was clicked

I am sorry if this seems like a stupid question... I just want to know where i am going wrong in this "WHITE HAT" method
