Help. outrank YP

I wonder if I could outrank Yellow pages for my local business directory?

I want to register a .org domain, with keywords, and ill do other SEO stuff.


But if I could get the city camber of commerce to give me a backlink on there site and same with the county and cities website, can I outrank yellow pages??

Whether you can outrank YP depends on the competition for the specific keyword you're interested in.

An alternative method would be to get listed in Yellow pages, instead.

It is not that easy for a new domain to overcome yellow pages. May be if you target less competitive keyword - it will work i guess.
