Help on transferring a site to a new domain

Hey guys my first post here. I am helping a friend today who has a site however he just bought a new domain from go daddy and i was wondering whats the best to copy his old site into his new domain. Its a fairly simple site with just a few links to look at photos and such. Thanks for any advice in advance.

Where is your old site hosted ?
You need to add the addon domain in your hosting with new site name and then upload the old site to the new addon domain folder in your hosting .

Thanks for ur help. In any case the old site is hosted by godaddy but his old brother in law kinda set it up for him a few years back and they had a falling out. Is there anyway i can download the old site and more or less paste into the new one and upload the photos?

There should be an option in your hosting which allows you to change the folder used for each domain. Just change the folder used in the old domain to some random one, and then change the new domain folder to the one your site is in.
