Help on making a good website in Dreamweaver

Hi, thanks for taking time to read this post. I was wondering if anyone could guide me to some great tutorials for dreamweaver cs5. Also I see a lot of websites with nice logos, don't know how to make I'm guessing they use photoshop although I'm not sure how I would go about designing it. Do you start with a istock photo?

Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated.
