Help! not receiving any traffic from search engine

Hi all, I run an educational blog targeting my country. I have submitted sitemap to google webmaster tool. I am not receiving a single traffic from search engine. Pls help on some seo methods to implement on the site. Thank you all for helping a noob

Is your website running on a CMS like WordPress? If yes, install the Yoast WordPress SEO plugin, it might help optimizing your on-page SEO. This should help driving some organic traffic, but also you need to put some content with "seed" keywords within.

yoast wordpress seo plugin is enough to drive search engine traffic. Very superb plugin i am enjoying the power of yoast.

I have yoast plugin installed.. How do I coinfigure it? Please help am loosing traffic

What do you mean by seed keyword. Am a noob pls
