I've been pretty frustrated lately, my website has 50,000 views so far this month and I've only made $32.00 ...I had 22,000 views in a day and I had only $7.00 earned? I had 15,000 and earned only $7.00?

Why could this be? Please help

50k is a lot ...How do you currently monetize your site?(affiliate, adsense, cpa?)niche?targeted visitors?targeted countrys?

have your ads placed perfectly ?

use one large rect. unit under post title, i get max clicks on this unit, try it , if you notice any difference then keep it or leave it...

also earning depends on the clicks , if you get clicks from US,Uk then you get more money...

Where is your traffic coming from? Is it SE traffic or bought? If its from traffic exchanges or from similar sources its normal.

What is your CTR? Is it low paying niche?

What is the niche of your website? are your ads high enough so that everybody sees them? What language is the website in (where are your customers from)? I make significantly more on less traffic. But the factors I mentioned earlier are very deciding.

It is a sports niche, most of my traffic comes from the USA and it is in english. All my ads are in visible spots! I dont put ads in content because I heard google adsense doesnt like that type of behavior and it can get you banned....especially in my case where im getting 10,000 views on one post a day I am too afraid to put a content ad on it, the other ads are still visible though!

PM me your website, I've had same problems and been optimizing ads for better results. I see this problem mainly with WP sites, themes are optimized for design, rather than earnings.
