    Hey guys,

    I'm trying to do some PHP & CSS related customization to my Wordpress website, but my coding skills suck, and the big G didn't help answer my questions either (trust me, I've researched a lot).

    If you're feeling generous, and feel like helping someone out, please send me a PM with your Skype.

    Unfortunately, I can't pay you money at the current time, but I will pay you with my eternal love.

    Thank you!

    Hey there Treeofl1,

    It's an eCommerce website built with WooCommerce, and I would like to:

    1. Add a third slider that looks like the theme's. 2nd slider was added via child theme when I asked the developers, but they refused to give further assistance.
    2. Make the 3 sliders appear on the home page, and the rest of the shop on another separate page.
    3. Customize the "Sort" button bundled with WooCommerce to give custom options that would yield custom results.

    I know this sounds like a hire-a-freelancer kind of requests, but I can't currently afford it.

    Thank you.

    Ok, the simplest solution would be to get a slider that supports shortcodes or gives you a template embed code.

    Then all you would do is make as many sliders as you need, and then put them in your index like this:

    Code:
    <?php
    function slidercode() { if (is_home()) {
    echo do_shortcode('[slider1]');
    echo do_shortcode('[slider2]');
    echo do_shortcode('[slider3]');
    }
    }
    slidercode();
    ?>

    I'm assuming the theme has an actual slider plugin installed, in which case no further styling should be necessary.

    In regards to your third question, I have no idea dude. I haven't used WooCommerce before so someone else may have to shed some light on this.

    Thanks for your reply.

    Indeed, the theme comes with a slider, but there's no shortcode for it.

    The slider actually has its own set of options directly from the theme's options, and when they added the second one, they had to replicate the options from the first one, and replace one of the other settings tab in the theme menu with the second slider's options, and added it via child theme. I believe they also had to use some CSS for it.

    I even tried to install several slider plugins, but they always appeared in the shop instead of above it, and they had a different styling from the original, which looks off.

    I still need further assistance I believe, so another shout out to other members who could assist.

    Thank you.
