I got the same message the other day. I have until February 28th to resolve my subscriber number and hours watched or i lose the ability to monetize my videos.
Another attempt post net neutrality fail to squash the little guy and keep the ball rolling in the court of big players, leaving small business, or creative thinkers on the beach.
I've got to find a solution myself or just shut off my channel. Or start doing stupid pet trick videos to entertain the childish.

Has zero to do with net neutrality chicken little nonsense. Even if NN were in effect they could still do what they did...and they would have. Google proved long ago they have no problem with screwing the little guy. And it's definitely going to be difficult for little guys to meet this metric. You have to have 11 hours of video viewed each day on average(4,000 hours a year) to comply. Good luck with that.
