Hi guys & thanks in advance for the help.

I do a lot of CPA marketing via CL using windows mail set up as an autoresponder. I used Hostgator for the last few months without any issues. Last week I moved over to bulletproof hosting so that I can send/receive more then 500 emails/hour.

Now, with my new host I keep receiving email back saying:

Your mailbox on the server is now more than 90% full. So that you can continue
to receive mail you need to remove some messages from your mailbox.

Shouldn't windows mail automatically delete the mail from the server after it downloads it?

Like I said, I had no issues with Hostgator & my windows mail settings have not changed sisce moving over..

    Thanks!

If you haven't double checked, here is how to check the setting. If it is still set right, I would email the host and see what the deal is because I cannot think of anything else on your end that could be the problem:

    -----------------------------------------------------------

Outlook Express, Outlook 98/2000, Windows Mail.
Open Outlook Express , Outlook 98/2000, or Windows Mail.
From the Tools menu select Accounts. The Internet Accounts box appears.
Select the Mail tab. (Note: Windows Mail does not have the Mail tab, but shows the account in the Internet Accounts window). Your email account appears.
Click on your account then click the Properties button on the right. The properties appear.
    Select the Advanced tab.
Under the Delivery section: Clear the check box Leave a copy of messages on the server if you do not need to save mail on the server. If you would like to leave messages on the server, please check the box Remove from server after, and click the arrows to specify the number of days or weeks emails should be saved. Never leave a copy of email on the server for more than 7 days.
Click OK and then click Close to return to the email program.

Thanks for the reply.. I double checked & the box for "leaving a copy" was not checked. That should mean that it gets deleted instantly correct?

I did email the host & honestly the customer support sucks. They set up a new mailbox last night & I had the same problem today. They are not willing to do much beyond that.

Can anyone recommend a good BulletProof Hosting service?

Just for kicks, here is the last email from the rep:

"Hope no more error, sir. I hope no more bothers. I have created all the accounts for you. Please try to play it by yourself"

Yeah normal behavior is for it to all be deleted at the end of a successful mail download. I have setup the outlook express variants thousands of times over the years and never had a problem with that. I suppose you could telnet into your mail server and manually dump the mail, but I just wonder if they have something configured on the mail server end that is jinxing the whole process. It doesn't sound like you are going to get anything out of them though from the sounds of the reply you got. What about using g00gle apps for your incoming and just using their outgoing server to send?

How would I set something like that up? I have never used G apps for anything.

    hxxp:// www. g00gle. c0m /a/cpanel/domain/new

Change x's to t's and 0's to o's of course. Select this:

Administrator: I own or control this domain

and then put your domain name in. See how far you get and let me know, I will help you with it. You will have to change the MX records with your registrar but other than that it is pretty straightforward. I have setup tons of domains with google apps and you can't beat it for free (or paid) hosting.
