Help needed with website

Hi there,
I'm in need of some advice, I have set up a ecommerce site selling mma/boxing equipment as this is what I do usually face 2 face in clubs and gyms, I decided to expand into selling online even though already knowing it is a highly competitive area etc. Another of the reasons for creating the website was so I could acquire trade accounts with other suppliers to widen my range which has already proven brilliant as I do really well with my face 2 face sales. However I would love to be able to get some traffic to my website and get some sales from it.

I know there is an absolute wealth of knowledge on this site already and I have spent literally hours trawling through but with the amount of knowledge here I'm really not sure which or what would be the best options for me to apply so I can achieve traffic and sales. So basically if anyone could take the time just to explain best options for me it would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Facebook page and Twitter which I have just started with a link to my site etc and running a competitions on etc.

Hi thanks for replying. I can't currently send pm until 15 posts. Do you mean create an ad via facebook? when you have sponsored ad on right hand side advertising your page? My website is selling mixed martial arts and boxing equipment, I use opencart and have a template which i use, i have done my own meta tag, meta descriptions etc and used google keywords to pick out keywords which weren't overly competitive but still had a good number of searches.

Im looking to increase traffic, page ranking and try get some sales through.

Imagine how you have been selling to your offline clients; how clients from far away places have been able to contact and buy from you.>>> Just the same way, you can set up your business online. This you can do with proper SEO traffic. Since you seem to have optimized your site a bit for SEO, dedicate a portion of your site to add value to your prospects.Let them have the unique feeling that you have them in mind, and that the paramount thing you want for them is their satisfaction, yeah! it's the way you'd also like to be treated, right?? Thanks, didnt think of pinterest or tumblr. Im using facebook well. Also got twitter which i could use more to my advantage.
