Help needed with clients webtsite!

Hey guys,

I have already posted a thread like this in the white hat SEO section but got no response. Proably for a good reason but I would at least liek a response telling me I am stupid than nothing at all ( I know, I am messed up lol)

My clients website is a flash based one, he has hired me to help him out. I would at least like to keep the logo and slogan from his previous website before I wipe it and set up a wordpress one. Is there anyway to do this?

My only question to you is have you used the search button here or google for your answers. Do you know that google literally has almost all the answer (expect what color undies you are wearing). JK.

you need to decompile/convert the flash to FLA files, on FLA you can export that logo or images

In all honesty I did check google multiple times and still haven't found the exact thing I am looking for. It's difficult to explain I just want to save the logo image and be able to put that in the new wordpress site. But all that being said I am terrible with code besides the basics.

I need to find the flash file but the problem with that is I don't know which one it is. I know I am sounding really stupid here. It would probably just be easier to make a new logo. HMmmm actually that might not be a bad idea.

I can understand what you mean about searching for what you want instead of asking a question and sitting around with your thumb up your arse hoping for an answer. I have indeed tried but I couldn't find what I was looking for. Hence why I came and asked here.

IN all honesty I probably deserved to be flamed but I would rather look stupid, et flamed and hopefully learn something then not doing anything at all.

Is that what I need to do? okay I'll quickly google that and see if I can do it thanks a lot mate. + rep ( I can't see your thanks button so yeah I'll just rep you)

very simple way could be just taking screenshot of his site with the logo/slogan than use image editing software to crop out the logo/slogan and incorporate into WP banner. Even recreating the logo / slogan should not be expensive anyways. There are plenty good graphic guys on here, or send me pm I'll give you recommendation too.

...wow I honestly never thought of that. As long as I can put it in the header of WP (which I am pretty sure I can) then it's all good. WHy is it the simplest options are never the one you think of.

You can always ask your client about a copy of the logo.. I've never heard about a company who doesn't have copies of it in a number of different formats.
