Help needed, Rank blogspot page

Hey guys, so i making my money online with bunch of different methods and i'm reading the forums for long time now... i tried jump in to the SEO word but i never understand whats going on, what should i do and how should i rank my word.

Right now i decided to give it one more try and start from really easy keyword (i'm not looking to make money from this, i just want to understand how it works and learn the game before i'll jump to the deep water) and i opened a blogspot blog with the keyword as subdomain. I found out that the first result on Google right now it's another BlogSpot page so i created much better Post (all contact original) and now i'm think i'm ready to go.

Can anyone help me to learn how to Rank it? What is the next step? What should i do and what should i not do?
If someone can offer service like that (not to rank the Keyword, i mean teach me the SEO game) i'll be happy to buy it and i will be even more happy to get it here and help others as well.

Once you start building links to your pages is when you'll start to see improvements in the ranking(s) for your keywords.

If your going to try and rank a blogspot take it from someone that has ranked alot of them and lost alot of them.
DO NOT SPAM BACKLINKS it will get termed very soon after i have tested this across alot of them and as soon as it is mass backlinked soon it will be termed.

Best bet is to backlink slowly from web2.0s etc and then backlink those

First thing first, if i were you i will start my learning process with the real thing and not blogspot.

Get your own original domain and get to learn if you are going to neg SEO it or not.
It doesn't cost $10 for a domain and $5 to $10 for hosting.

Basically, ranking a site is about on and off site SEO.

On-site SEO is about optimizing your web page for your keywords. This tells the search engine what your site wants to rank for and prepares the ground.

Off-site SEO is about building backlinks using different forms like web 2.0, comments, bookmarks and others..
The search engine ranks a site from the number and quality of incoming links.

Ranking for keywords on blogspot totally possible. You want to learns the different between long tail keyword and short tail keywords. Do some keyword research....try market samurai....great for noobs....first 14 days are free. Whatever your niche is go beyond that niche....example would be your niche->sub your niche-> sub your niche again...and bam use that in your on-site seo factors. Blogspot has some virility functionality to it as well so make sure your share and have the option of it getting shared. You will not rank for keywords like feeding cats but you can try and go for feeding cats wet food...so some bs like that...even further feeding cats with wet food and milk....again make sure your on-site is on point and make sure you submit it to google webmasters.

That can be true to use some keyword research to find good niche and start building links to improve authority of site.

Start of right with your own domain, hosting and a fresh installation of your preferred content management system like
WordPress. Fill in your unique content and include your keywords without keyword stuffing I might add. There are many guides right

I own bunch of domains (some of them with PR 2-3) but i made my page on Blogger because i saw here that is more easy to rank. I'm wrong?
