HELP NEEDED: Python related career suggession

Hey,
I am in the online marketing field for last 3 years and now I want to learn Python to learn more about Data Science and ML.

What my question is, I am not an engineering degree holder.

So, if I learn python, can I get a job as a developer or do they require an engineering degree?

How Is the future of python? is it a good time to learn now?
