TF is usually high if you have only quality links. It decreases over time as you build low-quality links. It's necessary to check all 3 metrics - DR, DA, and TF, as one of them can be manipulated. When you see all 3 together, you can get a rough idea of link profile.

Do you mean total under "organic keywords" in Ahrefs?

Or positions 1-3? Or 1-10?

Probably you need consistent flow of good backlinks. Not just few of them and which were created before 6 months.
