Help needed on installing xrumer/scrapebox on dedicated linux server! 10 FREE BLASTS:)

Hi,

I just purchased a dedicated server(Linux) and am not sure how to use it to work with xrumer/scrapebox...

I need help from someone

Once installed i WILL give 10 free blasts to the BHW community

Please help..Thanks in advance

you need windows platform for xrumer. so you need to get some virtualization software on linux and install windows

Same goes for scrapebox.

EDIT: Try swapping it out for a windows one if your hosting company provides them as well.

oops! but it seems that i can use wine on linux to emulate .exe files right?

In that case would they work?

sure they do,

but this server is a so powerful one and i don't wanna waste it by switching to windows...with linux i have cpanel...so i can use for reseller account

Install wine (Open Source Software for running Windows applications on other operating systems) on your sever . Then install your xrumer/scrapebox on your linux server.

The best (probably easiest) solution would be to install some virtualization software and then run a virtual machine with windows in it

Not that difficult to setup with vmware/xen/virtualbox/... nowadays. Let me know if you need any help.

Just install vmware dont mess about with wine since the sockets wont probably write properly on linux anyhow if not defently move to a windows box

For scrapebox, you can install virtualbox it will run fine then. But for Xrumer, you WILL need a windows on your box, either run from a VM or dedicated on the server. Easiest solution is to just get a windows box if you want to run both xrumer and scrapebox...

Not everything works so well in Wine although I've never tried to get scrapebox or xrumer to run in Wine. It just seems kind of backwards. Why not just use a windows box?
