Help needed: how to monetize a Mobile Reviews Site?

Hi mates,

I need some help.

There is this sites, that is about reviews of apps, accessories and alike, for both Android and iPhone/iPad worlds. Its content is first class. And even if there are thousands of keyword indexed in Google, very few of them are among the top 10. But thanks to BHW I bet it will gain more and more traffic.

Right now the only form of monetization is Amazon affiliate. On every accessory reviewed there is a picture link to Amazon's store.
Unfortunately at the moment it makes almost nothing.

I've read about CPA, maybe I can build some specific landing pages, for it.

I think that people landing on this site doesn't want to spend money, so it would be better some CPA with just some kind of pay per click revenue, like the AdSense model. Speaking of which, I have to say that I cannot use AdSense because it has a ban from AdSense. This site used to make me earn a lot in its hey-days, but now it's time to turn page...

Maybe just point me to the right direction, suggest a post I can read in this subforum (some of them are not goinig to work anymore in 2016...)

PPI(Pay per install) would be an great option. You can give reviews on those apps and place a download link below.

There are plenty of other options than AdSense. Chitika, Bingads, revenuehits and so on.

Sorry... what CPI stands for? Is that 'I' for installation?

Soon after the ban, I researched the AdSense alternatives, but no one was close to AdSense as CPC (cost per click). For example Chitika was nearly 1/4 of AdSense revenue.

By bingads you mean Yahoo Publisher?

Look into this site odigger.com
Find an offer/app and register in an affiliate network accordingly.
Tell them are you going to promote their apps and get accepted.

odigger com seems a container of several CPA companies. It's a kind of CPA directory... You can't have the reputation system you can find here on BHW, but It's interesting anyway to explore this kind of market and then come here to see if someone is using that company.

If you're traffic is mostly USA/CA/UK I'd strongly suggest Lijit.com which is CPM but pays really well.

Also try media.net - CPC awesome ad formats, even better and eye catching for mobile visitors.
