Recently i created a blog and i am having a hard time searching for a good domain name. I want a domain name that is keyword friendly and well queried by users using search engines. My blog is not specific to any category. It falls into a wide range of topics such as technology, sports, SEO or anything that makes an interest to the online community.

Any suggestion for a good domain name that could be SEO friendly?

Just Google some slang terms for that niche or check out Google Trends. You're bound to get some ideas from there.

No one will search for "joy vids" on Google though.

Stick to .coms. They tend to do better in SERPs.

So it's about current affairs in the online world? http://www.todaytech.net/ looks like it might not be taken. Most URLs with similar wording are just domain parked (like techtoday, which makes more sense).

I think you're going to have to give it a bit of focus though. What about tepping into "freeware" or "shareware" or the like, it's techy and popular.

I think that's a myth. I don't have anything to back that assertion up with, but there has been a lot of debate with no real proof either way...
