Just a newber in the IM industry, still learning and having a good time doing so.

Currently have a mac that utilizes macro scripts with automating some processes but looking for a SIDE PC LAPTOP SETUP that I can take with me anywhere and on the go. Not interested in running Windows on my mac.

The ideal laptop would be:
- Within <$400 range
- Strictly used for bots only, nothing more, no personal storage
- Help with social media, ORM for local businesses and possibly into SEO tools/automation later as I gain knowledge and get more serious, etc.

Was looking at this at Walmart (same setup with 500gb HD for $275 instore) but def open to whatever does the job
Code:

Appreciate anyone's feedback, thanks!

Cheers

Well you are not going to be able to run more than a few bots on that laptop, especially if you are looking to multitask and have quite a bit open. I would look into something with a little more processing power and ram if you decided to run bots and use it at the same time.

Well... If you really want the best possible computer look into building your own, it only takes 1-2 hours to build it. Definitely worth it!

My 2 cents here but wouldn't some nice VPS do the work for you? 24 hours online

Yeah I +1 that idea. If you are going to look into running bots and just use the laptop for "mundane (or hey, proactive) tasks" then I would looks at renting a VPS to run your bots and maintain a good workflow ;)

I didn't think of that, thank you both. I guess I just have to know which VPS host would allow these types of bot plus learn how to use VPS in general!
