What jQuery plugin are you using? Are you able to post a link?

I found this image grid jQuery plugin for you.
    tympanus.net/codrops/2012/08/02/animated-responsive-image-grid/

Simply add your link to the image you want in the html:
    Code:
    <li><a href="link"><img src="/images/medium/1.jpg"/></a></li>

If you do/don't want to give the user the ability to click on the image simply change this js variable:
    Code:
    preventClick : false

Is this what you where looking for?
