**Help** Need Experts Advice!!

Hey guys,

So I need advice from some expert/experience members of this community. First, I am gonna try to explain my situation here. There is this page and I got an offer on this page of $16k. At the time this offer was made the page had 192K likes and was highly active. I sent him a message that "I'm listening."

He is willing to pay %100 upfront. I had not received any reply from him for a week or two then I sent him a message saying if you are not serious than don't waste my time and got a reply. I thought that if he is willing to pay $16k it means that he can offer a lot more. Long story short, I took a guess and sent him a message that I want to sell it for $32k.

First I did not think that he would offer $28k in the start. To my surprise he did and when I said $30k and he quickly replied "done"

Now I don't want to lose any money on this deal and this is my first deal. So I need advice from experience people who buy and sell stuff. Make deals etc. What should I do? Should I sell the page or I don't know tell me what should I do?

Since the page is still highly active and growing 2 times faster than the last time he contacted me and the reach of the page is 4-5 times higher as well and it will NOT stop any time sooner. I really don't want to left anything on the table and I don't know why but I still think that I am leaving huge amount here. Any advice from your experience will be highly appreciated.

And on the side note; I'm reading here that, ... if you call PayPal that this payment is unauthorized, they will listen to the buyer and undo the payment. How much truth is in it?

I thought the exact same thing. How about the price?

I don't know about that. Other members will give you the advice you want. Don't worry, they will. Its almost 6am in the states so the pros will be up soon.

This smells strongly of trying to sell outside the Marketplace...

If you have someone actually offering you $30k for a page with under 200k likes, you are ripping that fucker off.

Is it a good deal even if the page is growing like crazy. This is my first deal. Will be needing a lot of help. I'm sure they will have a paypal option. How much they (escrow) will charge me if a deal is worth $30000 and how much PayPal will Charge?

Full bank account info? Well I don't want to send the payment in my bank account. Tax is too high. Want to use PayPal. what do you think? escrow must have a paypal option.

Unless you've been doing thousands of dollars a month via a PayPal business account that is fully validated and updated with accurate information, pushing $30,000 worth of income through a PayPal account is a fucking stupid idea.

Do a wire transfer with escrow, deal with the taxes like a man. Don't try to be a dodgy fuck, especially not with $30,000.

You have given me something useful. Thank you. I will try wire transfer. But won't it raise questions? I am talking about the bank. They can ask where this amount has come from? how? why? didn't like the word fu*k. but your advise is good. can you give a little more. What should I do?

At this point I would suggest that your best option is calling the bank and asking them the questions you are asking me. You aren't doing anything illegal (yet). You are just selling a web property you have cultivated. Contact the bank, put those big boy pants on, and do the deal. Don't spend the money right away, though. Wait a little while to make sure nothing shady happens.

Sell it fast. Use escrow. Bank account might not be a good idea either, because some particular banks support payment callbacks.

My advice, use escrow service.
