[Help] Need a text editor - Wordpress Alternative!

i'm gone sick & tired of the wordpress backend editor really it sucks badly,

can anyone suggest me a better alternative one of which that allows full text manipulation for example font increasing colour change you know what I mean..

something maybe similar to Wordpad?

I know of one curationsoft but this does a half job at it, does anyone know any good one?
