I would email your hosting provider and ask to restore from an old backup. Most hosting providers that ive used offer this service. I just had to use this with hostgator and they charged me 15 dollars but it totally saved my ass. Hostgator told me that they backup on sundays and it may get overwritten. So you need to hurey. It might not be too late.
Sorry for the spelling. On my first android device. lol
Thanks, i have just email them.
Hosting may take time to respond you (depends on your hsoting). N if you are in hurry just upload the the wordpress again n connect it to the older database in this way,you can get all your posts back.. My site was also hacked by some stupid 4 days ago.
I've written an article about it here:
It will help you in restoring your website. If you're comfortable with wordpress, I'd recommend to install the here mentioned optional ask apache plugin. It's a little advanced, but really just a little. It can do wonders in preventing hackers access though.
If you think there's something missing, comment and I'll add it in the article.
It takes only 15 minutes
0. DON'T PANIC
1. Backup all data which being on your host .
2. Phone host supporter .
3. Find name of hacker's index file .
4. Re-up your index file .
5. Delete all cache .
Nice article, thewicker, it's simple enough for me and i'll follow your guide. I agree with there's no security when advanced hackers has target your site, it will go down.
Nice Thesis. looks clean, i love it.
1) Protect the /wp-admin dir by IP or password via .htaccess
2) Install a WP database backup plugin or backup it manually at least once a week.
3) Install WP Security Scan.
Same has happend to be a couple of times, starting to get really annoying. They kept changing login and password. The above info is really good. Could of done with that before I reseached online for about 2 hours :headache:
That is a good article. Thanks for sharing.
To the OP I am sorry that you keep getting hacked. Hopefully your hosting company can help you get back up (if you aren't already) and maybe help with security if this is becoming a regular issue.
