Ive advertised in countless places, I'm not sure if its my layout or what, but Ive recently added a forum to my site but I'm not having any success. The
any tips, help, advice to get this thing off of the ground would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again for your time

Need more specifics... What niche, what do you want people to do.. Consider populating the forum yourself a bit, might help. That's what I do with my site's comments always first. Nobody want to be the first.

How much traffic does your site get? A friend who runs forums for other sites claims you need at least 200 daily to get off the ground, try bringing in some experts into your forum:)

yea i did some filler post under differnt accounts, also i get between 40-100 hits a day from seperate users, im no expert but would mind help from some lol the site is codclanwarz

thats the site ^ wont let me post a url

anyone out there that can help save my project before its a complete fail?

Add something like last forum posts to your homepage, that might help. People will join the forum if they will find interesting information they need I think.
And maybe delete the advertisements until it's running properly.

Forums are generally difficult as they require a constant user engagement. If people see it's dead and boring, they will leave and most likely never come back.

Run some advertising on gaming sites and keywords. It may take some money to get a bunch of people on it fast, just to light a fire under it's butt and get it rolling.

What you need is some quality content. I know it was difficult to keep a fourm up and running but you need to make your website interesting.

any one want to help? like admin and mod a few things, i promise ill hook you up when it takes off...
