Help! My Site Was Hacked

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but here goes.

My site was hacked and the sods injected an identical line of code at the bottom of every html and htm page. There are thousands of pages to repair and I don't have a backup to restore.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can automate the task of removing the line of code from each page.

And yes, I have upgraded the security so it doesn't happen again.

All i can say is yes there is a script, but off the top of my head i cant remember what its called. But it can go though your entire html, php, asp, htm etc codes on ur server and find what ever code that scum bag put on ur site and delete it (of course u have to put in the script what to look for kinda like find and replace in note pad or front page) Just feel bad i cant tell u the freakin name of the script, search around its out there..

in the simplest form if the code you want to remove is the same on each page you can always download the site, and use dreamweaver to find and replace the code... it has options to do this across an entire site or local folder, etc

however before you reupload your site you need to be looking at your web logs to find out the source of how the files where able to be changed...

I feel your pain. I discovered my site hacked about 6 months ago. Really pee'd me off. Too bad for the hackers........as I have found a way to monetize off all their hard work. hehehehehehe. All thanks to the inspirational motivations of BHW MEMBERS! Lemme see if I can find a link to a script. BRB

Could you explain a bit more what happened ? Which script do you use that has been hacked ? What kind of vuln has been exploited ? Any other information ?
