HELP my site NOT getting indexed!

Hi Guys,
I think I have something setup as wrong on my site. Primary robots.txt
I went
http://www.seositecheckup.com/

and it showed that the robots.txt file is noindex, no follow
so I guess that explain it
but when I go to my site/robots.txt
it says
User-agent: *
Disallow: /

is that what its supposed to say?

Sorry if I'm all over the place just try to learn all this stuff.

should it not be:

User-agent: *
Disallow:

I know User-agent: *
means all spider bots, so not G specific or Yah00 specific, every single one of them.

And I'm pretty sure the Disallow:/ means everything, so everything is disallowed.

P.s. if you are running wordpress it will do this to your robot.txt if you accidentally set the blog to private... so make sure you go to your privacy settings and check its privacy settings.
