Hello,

I have a site where recently is cloned heavy. I found them as the cloned sites have still my Statcounter and amazon codes. The cloned sites are not indexed in google. They are heavily promoted on FB as per "cames from activity".

How can I stop this?
Is this can hurt in longterm my amazon site?
What is the profit of people doing this?

Thnx

Contact their hosting and file a dmca request. If they are entirely relying on FB then it's another story.

That will be impossible to stop them as they change the domain/host every week almost.

there's been a few in-depth threads on bhw about this.
only thing u can do is chase them with dmca / report dupe content to Google. if you keep chasing him with that he may get discouraged and give up. but if he's making good money, he'll likely be in there for the long haul.
nothing u can do now but in future you can obfuscate your code, minify html, encode links, disable right click, and do other tricks to make ripping your site harder on people.

i ripped a guys site once and 24h later he emailed my contact form, cursing me out lol. i was astonished how fast he found me. turns out he had google alerts (forgot that existed) around his niche.

will it hurt you? prob not
whats the profit of others doing it? they're lazy. why work up your own site, when you can copy+paste a competitor, and work out the traffic on your own.

If they're using your amazon code(s) & deindexed, then you have nothing to worry about,
This shouldn't cause any kind of problems both SEO wise either they will be stealing your audience since they're targeting different platforms,
seems like they're trying to monetize with some ads, so, it's basically a double win for both of you

Or get a service like MarkMonitor or something similar....and get notified fast when someone copied your content.

To protect your website from cloning you can use additional security to prevent any cloning programs from having access, so they will be blocked. You can turn on the protection by opening your site in iframe or track access logins to it. You can use traps in the scripts as well.

Add a traffic stealer script to your site = Easy free traffic from people ripping your shit :)

add malicious js into your site and let them copy it something like beefproject.com/

If I were you, I would hit these scumbags on two levels.

First, I would file a complaint with their host .

If they're hosted in the United States, Europe, or any jurisdiction that respects intellectual property laws, you should be okay.

You can download standard forms from the Internet to make your claim and include information to prove your claim.

The next level is to attack them on Facebook .

Since you said that they publish your stuff on Facebook, file a report.

It's pretty straightforward.

Facebook can easily find that content.

Ideally, you should have a direct URL for the Facebook group or page your stuff shows up at.

But if this stuff is hidden and all you can see is Facebook.com as the referrer, contact Facebook directly to find it for you.

If you can prove that you're the content owner, Facebook can nuke that clone account fairly quickly.
